This presentation examines how Colorado’s regulatory landscape is shaping development strategies across the DJ Basin, with a focus on inventory quality and duration, long-lateral development, and horseshoe drilling. It also explores how operators are pursuing resource expansion opportunities as remaining high-quality drilling inventory becomes increasingly concentrated among the basin’s three largest operators: CVX, OXY, and SM.
Speaker Bio
Morgan joined Enverus Intelligence Research in February 2022 and serves as a senior analyst specializing in the Williston, DJ, Powder River, and Uinta basins. She earned both a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geology from the University of Calgary. Before joining Enverus, Morgan held internships with leading E&P companies, including Chevron, Repsol, and Cenovus. She is based in Calgary, Canada.
